Jeremy is a Linux system administrator and a musician. He loves tinkering with embedded devices and open source software, especially in a musical context. When it comes to making music Jeremy has been doing so semi-professionally for over 25 years now, released some full length albums, ran a record label and toured all over his home country The Netherlands. On the Linux and open source front he's a specialist in building and maintaining high-availability and containerization solutions, currently submerged in technologies like Kubernetes, Docker and Ansible.
He has also been very active within the Linux audio community. As for MOD, he met Gianfranco for the first time at the 2013 Linux Audio Conference in Graz and was immediately thrilled by the idea of having a Linux-based, open source effects processor at his feet. In 2015 he was asked to join the team to take care of the MOD servers and keep an eye on the services and applications that run there, like the website, forum, wiki, pedalboards, etc. He's also involved in beta testing new MOD Duo OS releases. When Jeremy is not making music or fixing servers he's probably drinking a good beer, playing Super Mario Bros with his kids or preparing a copious stew.
